A few reasons: we only install one charger, so there's no mixed stock or complicated pricing to navigate. As the Xplug A1 has built-in 4G connectivity at no cost to the user, this also saves us over an hour at an install getting the homeowner connected and means fewer callbacks, as firmware updates and fault finding can be done over the air. This helps keep installs quick and efficient and lets us offer a more price-competitive install.
Every installation is carried out by a qualified, NICEIC-registered electrician from our local network, DBS-checked before they ever visit your home. You'll get full BS 7671 certification on the day, the same standard required for any compliant domestic electrical work.
We're a growing network of local depots across the North West — see the depot map and full town list above for exactly where we're live today. If you're just outside these areas, get a quote anyway — we'll try our best to carry out a remote survey instead and provide a fixed quote.

A standard installation typically takes 2 hours. Your local installer will confirm timing when the job is booked in after the free site survey.
Your Xplug A1 charger, load balancing device, EV consumer unit, surge protection devices, supply cable, installation certificate and DNO notification — everything needed for a complete, compliant installation. Anything unusual found during the site check — like extra cabling runs — is agreed with you before it's added, never after.
No. Your price is confirmed after the survey and fixed before any work begins — what you're quoted is what you pay, with nothing added on the day. If the survey turns up anything unusual (like an unusually long cable run), we'll always agree any change with you first, before it's added to your invoice.
Every installation is covered by our own 3-year workmanship guarantee, on top of the charger's 3-year manufacturer warranty.
